Hedwig of Brandenburg (23 February 1540 – 21 October 1602), a member of the Hohenzollern dynasty, was Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg and Princess of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel from 1568 to 1589, by her marriage with the Welf duke Julius.

Hedwig of Brandenburg, also called Hedwig of Ballenstedt (c. 1140 – end of March 1203), a member of the House of Ascania, was Margravine of Meissen from 1156 until 1190 by her marriage with Margrave Otto II.
He married Hedwig of Brandenburg, Duchess of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel on 25 February 1560. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 8 daughters. He died on 3 May 1589, in his hometown, at the age of 60, and was buried in Wolfenbüttel, Wolfenbüttel, Lower Saxony, Germany.
