Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman. (1836-1908), Prime Minister. Sitter in 29 portraits. After studying at Trinity College, Cambridge, he joined the family drapery business. He was elected as a Liberal MP in 1868 and entered the Cabinet as War Secretary in 1886. He earned a reputation as an efficient political operator.
