HENRY GREY, Duke of Suffolk, third Marquis of Dorset (d. 1554), father of Lady Jane Grey, eldest son of Thomas Grey, second marquis of Dorset, by Margaret, daughter of Sir Robert Wotton, succeeded to the title as third marquis in 1530.

Henry Grey, I duque de Suffolk y III marqués de Dorset, (17 de enero de 1517 - 23 de febrero de 1554). Fue hijo de Thomas Grey, II marqués de Dorset y de Margaret Wotton, marquesa consorte de Dorset. A través de su padre era bisnieto de Isabel Woodville, la reina de Eduardo IV de Inglaterra, por su primer matrimonio con sir John Grey de Groby.

23 de feb. de 2023 · Today in 1554 Henry Grey, Duke of Suffolk was executed on Tower Hill, 11 days after his daughter, Lady Jane Grey. He had joined Wyatt’s Rebellion, which had protested against Mary I’s marrying Phillip of Spain, and when he realized that he had been discovered, he tried to flee the country in disguise.
