In 1467 Henry married in Cheb (German language: Eger) with Ursula of Brandenburg, a daughter of the Elector Albert III Achilles of Brandenburg. The marriage produced 8 children: Albert (1468–1511), Duke of Münsterberg-Oels. married in 1487 Princess Salome (1475/76-1514), daughter of Duke John II of Żagań and Großglogau.
His parents were Henry the Elder of Münsterberg and Ursula of Brandenburg, daughter of the Elector Albrecht III Achilles, Elector of Brandenburg. In 1487, Albert married Salome (1475/76-1514), a daughter of Duke John II of Żagań and Großglogau. In 1488, his younger brothers George and Charles also married daughters of John II.
His parents were Karl II, Duke of Münsterberg-Oels and Elisabeth Magdalena (1562–1630), daughter of Duke George II of Brieg.
