His son Thomas Bulstrode was also a party to this transaction, but whether Thomas eventually held the manor himself does not appear.

He made a point of meeting with David Harewood–the British actor who played CIA honcho David Estes in Homeland –to talk about slavery reparations. Harewood, the child of Caribbean immigrants, is descended from slaves on the Lascelles family plantations.
