  2. 11 de abr. de 2023 · Sir Henry Seymour (c. 1503 – 5 April 1578)[1] was an English landowner and MP, the brother of Jane Seymour, queen consort of Henry VIII, and consequently uncle to Edward VI.[1] He was created a Knight of the Bath after his nephew's coronation. Family[edit] Sir Henry Seymour was born around 1503, probably at Wulfhall, Wiltshire.[3]

Henry Seymour, Knt., of Marvel (now spelt Marwell [1]) and Twyford, Hampshire, was the third but second surviving son of John Seymour, Knt., and Margery Wentworth. [2] [3] He was the brother of Jane Seymour, wife of Henry VIII, and the uncle of Edward VI, King of England. Henry's date of birth is estimated at about 1503.

  4. Son Henry B. Seymour would serve as a clerk in the 19 th New York infantry during the Civil War (“Henry B. Seymour”). He would pass away on June 6, 1869, age 26. Mortality records in the 1870 census list the cause of his death as heart disease. His son's untimely death did not keep Henry Seymour from initiating yet another new business venture.
