Henry Somerset, 1st Marquess of Worcester (1577 [1] – 18 December 1646) was an English aristocrat, who was a prominent and financially important Royalist during the early years of the English Civil War . Life. He was the son of Edward Somerset, 4th Earl of Worcester and Elizabeth Hastings.
Henry John FitzRoy Somerset, 12th Duke of Beaufort (born 22 May 1952), styled Marquess of Worcester between 1984 and 2017, also known as Harry Beaufort or Bunter Beaufort, is an English peer and landowner with estates in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. He is based at Badminton House.

Biography. Henry Somerset, was the 1st Marquess of Worcester, an English aristocrat. The son of Edward Somerset 4th Earl of Worcester and Elizabeth Hastings. In March 1628 he became the 5th Earl of Worcester. On 16 June 1600 he married Hon. Anne Russell the daughter of John Russell and Elizabeth Cook.
