Hermann Billung (900 or 912 – 27 March 973) was the margrave of the Billung March from 936 until his death. The first of the Saxon House of Billung, Hermann was a trusted lieutenant of Emperor Otto I .

Hermann Billung († 27. März 973 in Quedlinburg) aus der Verwandtengruppe der Nachfahren Widukinds war Herzog in Sachsen. Der geläufige Beiname Billung ist möglicherweise nicht zeitgenössisch. Nach seinem Herrschaftsantritt im Jahr 936 bestellte König Otto I. Hermann zu seinem neuen Heerführer (princeps militiae).
