Hindal Mirza. Abu'l-Nasir Muhammad ( Persian: ابوالنصیر محمد; [2] 4 March 1519 – 20 November 1551), better known by the sobriquet Hindal ( Chagatai for "Taker of India"), was a Mughal prince and the youngest son of Emperor Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire and the first Mughal emperor. [3] .

Ruqaiya Sultan Begum (alternatively spelled Ruqayya or Ruqayyah; c. 1542–1626) was the first wife and one of the chief consorts of the third Mughal emperor, Akbar. [2] [3] Ruqaiya was a first cousin of her husband and was a Mughal princess by birth. Her father, Hindal Mirza, was the youngest brother of Akbar's father, Humayun.

Following his defeat, Humayun returned to Agra, and restored order after disturbances from his brother, Hindal Mirza. Humayun mobilized a large force, and advanced with an army of 40,000, while Sher Shah amassed 15,000.
