Hobart College is a co-educational senior high school for students in Years 11 and 12 (ages 16 – 19). Set amongst beautiful bushland, the school is a pathway for students to qualify for university, pursue further vocational education and training or enter employment.
Hobart College is an inclusive environment which supports and nurtures all students. It is a multicultural campus, welcoming international and exchange students. As well as offering a full range of TCE subjects, students have the opportunity to enrol in Certificate Courses and the UTAS High Achiever Program.
Hobart College is a government comprehensive senior secondary school located in Mount Nelson, a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Established in 1913 as Hobart High School, it was later renamed as Hobart Matriculation College in 1965, and subsequently renamed as Hobart College.

The range of subjects includes: Humanities, Mathematics, Science, English, Creative and Performing Arts, Health and Physical Education, Technology and Languages.
Hobart College is situated on Mt Nelson/kriwalayti, easily accessible via the Southern Outlet, in Hobart. Approximately 1400 students attend the college and it has provided over 100 years of educational accessibility and excellence in Southern Tasmania.
The 1913 foundation of excellence and innovation continues to be realised and Hobart College provides strong leadership in state education. Today we have around 120 teachers, 50 support staff and an enrolment of over 1300 students.
