Schloss Sonderburg, Südjütland (Dänemark) Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, kurz Haus Glücksburg, ist der Name einer 1825 gegründeten Linie, die dem Haus Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg entstammt, einer Nebenlinie des Gesamthauses Oldenburg (siehe dazu die Stammliste des Hauses Oldenburg, Abschnitt Linie Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg ).
Glücksburg (formellt Glücksburg (Ostsee), danska: Lyksborg) är en stad belägen vid Flensburgfjorden några kilometer nordost om Flensburg i det tyska förbundslandet Schleswig-Holstein. Folkmängden uppgår till cirka 6 400 invånare.

Christiana was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. She was raised by Magdalene Sibylle of Saxony, the widow of the Danish Crown Prince, at her widow seat Nyköpingshus.

Prince Johann of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg (5 December 1825 – 27 May 1911) was the ninth of the ten children of Friedrich Wilhelm, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg and Princess Louise Caroline of Hesse-Kassel. He was named after his ancestor John II, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg.
