Hugh of Chalon (French: Hugues; 1220–1266) was count of Burgundy by his marriage to Adelaide, Countess of Burgundy, on 1 November 1236, when he was aged 16. He was the son of John, Count of Chalon , and his first wife, Mahat, daughter of Hugh III, Duke of Burgundy .

Hugues de Chalon was the father of Ermentrude Autun (born circa 1000), married around 1019 with Thibaut de Chalon, son of Geoffroy I (c. 955-990), Lord of Semur and Mahaut de Chalon (v. 974-AD. 1005), Lady of Donzy (herself the daughter of Lambert de Chalon and Adelaide of Burgundy).
