18 de abr. de 2024 · Isaac Shelby, a "man whom the folks at Hattiesburg never heard of before" as the Jackson Daily News wrote in 1917, was a hero of the American Revolution and War of 1812. He also served as the first and fifth governor of Kentucky. Shelby's name was selected for the camp as it would be home to future servicemen from Indiana and Kentucky.
