sept de 2023 • En solitario. Wow, this was different. I've seen dozens of Vermont covered bridges but not a covered footbridge until now, especially one with such a unique shape. Some history: the former footbridge spanned 13 sets of railroad tracks from 1903 to 1973, then was torn down. This new footbridge was completed in 2003.
Brighton State Park is just beautiful! Located near Island Pond in the beautiful North East Kingdom of Vermont. Surrounding Spectacle Pond, you can listen to the loons and watch them as they float by your campsite. The trails around the park are easy and beautiful! There are trails on both sides of the park. Some go through the Red tree forest.
