Hace 5 días · Unlike Descartes and Spinoza, Leibniz had a university education in philosophy. He was influenced by his Leipzig professor Jakob Thomasius, who also supervised his BA thesis in philosophy. Leibniz also read Francisco Suárez, a Spanish Jesuit respected even in Lutheran universities.
