Interesting con man/heist film with James Coburn as the lead. Ran across the movie on Tubi and went in blind not knowing anything about it. I know a lot of people are hesitant to watch older films but if you liked Heat, Catch Me if you Can or the Ocean movies, you’ll see bits and pieces of ideas that are in all of these films in Dead Heat.

His parents were Weldon Warren Bumgarner (1901–1986), [3] a widower, and Mildred Scott ( née Meek; 1907–1933), who died five years after his birth. His father was of part German ancestry.

The film is sly and subversive, and it can be great fun trying to keep up with it.
