9 de abr. de 2024 · His bones were returned to Scotland to be interred in Douglas Kirk. Douglas was married (wife’s name unknown) but their son, William, was killed at Halidon Hill on 19 July 1333. James’ illegitimate son, Archibald, had a distinguished career that saw him become the third earl of Douglas in 1389.
