Biography. James (Campbell) Campbell Vth Earl of Loudoun is a member of Clan Campbell. James Mure Campbell was born 11 February 1726. He assumed the name Mure on succeeding to the estate of Rowallan. He was elected a Member of Parliament for the county of Ayr, in 1754.
