Jane is a small, petite woman with pale skin and dark brown hair. Her hair is cut short and is often pulled back. Jane often wears casual clothing, such as flannel shirts or t-shirts. They fly under the radar for their first few weeks in town, but once Madeline meets Jane- she starts to invite her out with the girls so she can meet other moms.
