Prince Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski (20 January 1616 – 31 December 1667) was a Polish noble ( szlachcic ), magnate, politician and military commander, and Prince of the Holy Roman Empire. He was the initiator of the Lubomirski Rebellion of 1665–1666 against royal authority.

El príncipe Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski (20 de enero de 1616 - 31 de diciembre de 1667) fue un noble polaco ( szlachcic ), magnate , político y comandante militar. Lubomirski fue un príncipe del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico SRI. Fue el iniciador de la Rebelión Lubomirski de 1665-1666.
La rebelión de Lubomirski o rokosz de Lubomirski (polaco: rokosz Lubomirskiego), fue una rebelión contra el rey polaco Juan II Casimiro que fue iniciada por Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski, un miembro de la nobleza polaca. De 1665 a 1666, los partidarios de Lubomirski paralizaron las actuaciones del Sejm.

Prince Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski (1616 – 1667) was the only Polish aristocrat during the Deluge to not take the oath to Charles X Gustav. [ citation needed ] Jerzy gave shelter to king John II Casimir on his estate in Lubowla (today’s Slovakia ) and launched a counteroffensive of Polish troops.
