全体としてややCale色が強く、ミニマルというより変種のファンクと思います（その割にあまりリズムは一定しませんが）。 A面の二曲はそれでもいかにもTerry Rileyらしい音色が聴かれますが、B面のIdes of MarchはRileyがこんなピアノを弾くのか、と驚くような演奏です。
