Johann Georg II., Fürst von Anhalt-Dessau was born 7 November 1627 in Dessau, Germany to Johann Kasimir von Anhalt-Dessau (1596-1660) and Agnes von Hessen-Kassel (1606-1650) and died 17 August 1693 Berlin, Germany of unspecified causes. He married Henriëtte Catharina van Nassau (1637-1708) 9 July 1659 in Groningen, Netherlands.

John George II (17 November 1627 – 7 August 1693) was a German prince of the House of Ascania and ruler of the principality of Anhalt-Dessau from 1660 to 1693. A member of the Fruitbearing Society, he also served as a field marshal of Brandenburg-Prussia.
John Casimir, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau (17 December 1596 – 15 September 1660), was a German prince of the House of Ascania. He was ruler of the principality of Anhalt-Dessau from 1618 to 1660. During his reign the tasks of government were carried out by a committee of court officials, because he devoted much of his time to hunting.
