  3. John Graham, 1st Viscount of Dundee (c.1648 - July 1689) belonged to a family that was descended from King Robert III and had acquired the estate of Claverhouse near Dundee. Graham was the elder son of Sir William Graham and Lady Madeline Carnegie.
