  4. JOHN HASTINGS, second Earl of Pembroke (1347-1375), was only son of Laurence Hastings, first earl, and Agnes, daughter of Roger Mortimer, earl of March. His father died in 1348, while he was little more than a year old, and during his minority his estates were managed by his mother.

  5. He married Margaret of Windsor Countess of Pembroke on 19 May 1359, in Reading, Berkshire, England. He died on 16 April 1375, in Arras, Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France, at the age of 27, and was buried in Hereford, Herefordshire, England.
