4 de sept. de 2007 · Walter Francis John Montagu Douglas Scott, 9th Duke of Buccleuch was born on 28 September 1923. 1 He was the son of Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, 8th Duke of Buccleuch and Vreda Esther Mary Lascelles. 1 He married Jane McNeill, daughter of John McNeill and Amy Yvonne Maynard, on 10 January 1953. 1, 3 He died on 4 September 2007 at age 83. 4.
Early life and education. Scott was born in 1954, the son of John Scott, 9th Duke of Buccleuch, and his wife, Jane Scott, Duchess of Buccleuch, a daughter of John McNeill, QC. He was baptised with Princess Margaret as one of his godparents. His first cousin is Ralph Percy, 12th Duke of Northumberland.
