Biographie. Georges-Frédéric-Charles de Brandebourg-Bayreuth était le fils aîné de Christian-Henri de Brandebourg-Culmbach et de Sophie-Christiane de Wolfstein. En 1726, il succéda au margrave Georges-Guillaume de Brandebourg-Bayreuth pour la principauté de Bayreuth. Il prit le nom de Brandebourg-Kulmbach-Bayreuth ou Brandebourg-Bayreuth.

Der 1/12 Taler 1735 Brandenburg-Bayreuth ist ein beeindruckendes Stück Münzgeschichte. Die Rückseite ziert die Inschrift „RENASCENDI STUDIO TERRENA RELINQUINT“, was übersetzt bedeutet „Das irdische Streben nach Erneuerung bleibt“. Die schöne Münze wurde anlässlich des Todes von Georg Friedrich Karl 1726-1735 geprägt.
