[1] Her mother was Adelaide of Normandy, the sister of William the conqueror. Adelaide was married three times: Enguerrand of Ponthieu, lord of Aumale. Lambert, count of Eu, brother of Eustace of Boulogne.

  5. In 1070 Waltheof married Countess Judith de Lens, daughter of Lambert II, Count of Lens and Adelaide of Normandy, Countess of Aumale. Countess Judith was the niece of William the Conqueror. Waltheof and Judith had three children:

  6. Maud was the daughter of Waltheof, the Anglo-Saxon Earl of Huntingdon and Northampton, and his French wife Judith of Lens. Her father was the last of the major Anglo-Saxon earls to remain powerful after the Norman conquest of England in 1066, and the son of Siward, Earl of Northumbria.

  7. When Judith de Lens was born in May 1054, in Lens, Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France, her father, Lambert I "Eustache" de Boulogne, was 25 and her mother, Adelaide de Normandie, was 25. She married Waltheof Earl of Northumbria. They were the parents of at least 3 daughters.
