10 de abr. de 2024 · Julius Streicher (born February 22, 1885, Fleinhausen, Germany—died October 16, 1946, Nürnberg) was a Nazi demagogue and politician who gained infamy as one of the most virulent advocates of the persecution of Jews during the 1930s. Streicher served in the German army during World War I and afterward taught elementary school in Nürnberg.

As Gauleiter of Franconia, the region that included Nuremberg, he became infamous for violence, debauchery, and financial fraud, and his anti-Semitic newspaper “Der Stürmer” disgusted even the Nazi elite. Hitler’s patronage was the only reason why Streicher hadn’t been executed during the time of the Third Reich.
Julius Streicher (Fleinhausen, 12 de fevereiro de 1885 – Nuremberga, 16 de outubro de 1946) foi um professor e editor alemão, proeminente oficial nazi antes e durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Ele publicava o jornal nazista " Der Stürmer ", o qual se tornaria parte da máquina de propaganda nazista.
Julius Streicher, né le 12 février 1885 à Fleinhausen (hameau de Dinkelscherben - Bavière) et mort le 16 octobre 1946 à Nuremberg, est un éditeur antisémite allemand devenu cadre du NSDAP. Il participe au putsch manqué de Munich en novembre 1923 et est condamné à mort en 1946 au procès de Nuremberg .

For his influential role in inciting hatred and violence, the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg indicated Streicher on count four, crimes against humanity. Streicher was found guilty and sentenced to death. He was hanged on October 16, 1946.
