Königsberg (pronunciado /ˈkøːnɪçsˌbɛɐ̯k/ ⓘ) (Keenigsbarg en bajo prusiano) fue la capital de Prusia Oriental desde la Baja Edad Media hasta 1945, cuando fue tomada por los soviéticos y renombrada como Kaliningrado, capital del actual óblast de Kaliningrado.

Modern-day Kaliningrad was founded in 1255 on the site of the ancient Old Prussian settlement Twangste by the Teutonic Knights during the Northern Crusades, and was named Königsberg in honor of King Ottokar II of Bohemia.
