Count Karl Josef Henckel von Donnersmarck (7 November 1928 – 16 April 2008) was a Polish-German nobleman and, as the husband of Princess Marie-Adélaïde of Luxembourg, a member of the Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg.
In 1958, Count Karl Josef Henckel von Donnersmarck married Princess Marie-Adélaïde, daughter of the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg and her consort, Felix of Bourbon-Parma, in what was the first televised royal wedding.
Henckel von Donnersmarck ist eine österreichisch-deutsche Adelsfamilie. Sie hat ihren Ursprung in der früher oberungarischen Landschaft Zips (heute slowakisch Spiš ), wo die Vorfahren einst als ungarndeutsche Siedler ansässig waren.
