Kenichi Hagiwara (萩原 健一, Hagiwara Ken'ichi, 26 July 1950 – 26 March 2019) was a Japanese singer and actor. Music career. Also known as Sho-Ken, he was the lead singer of The Tempters, [1] which was a blues-rock band connected to the Group Sounds scene, and gained big hits in the late 1960s.

Ken'ichi Hagiwara was born on 25 July 1950 in Tokyo, Japan. He was an actor, known for Kagemusha: The Shadow Warrior (1980), Bitterness of Youth (1974) and Izakaya yurei (1994). He was married to Rika Tomita and Ayumi Ishida. He died on 26 March 2019 in Tokyo, Japan.
