Kensale Green Cemetery was initially known as the General Cemetery of All Souls. It’s still in use today and is a relatively busy cemetery, as we experienced when we visited.
Hace 6 días · He died in December 1881, at 1 Gloucester Road, Kensington, and was buried in Kensal Green Cemetery, alongside his brother Henry Burton, and his sister Jessy Burton. Decimus was the last of his siblings to die. Over his grave is a tapering sarcophagus of grey Cornish granite, on a stepped base, with a shallow pyramidal cover.
28 de abr. de 2024 · Kensal Green Cemetery. Built in 1833, this was the first of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries to be established. The Kensal Green Cemetery has been listed as a Grade I structure on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens in London, and it remains in use to this day.

Opened in 1972, it had been commissioned by the Greater London [Winston Churchill] Marigold died in August 1921, from sepsis of the throat and was buried in Kensal Green Cemetery.
