He once had a small legal business in Tarkov, but was not afraid to use criminal methods of money acquisition. After the general evacuation he remained in the city, and his gang has grown. He has a large number of well-armed guards, some of whom are former military men who have organized a strong defense for him. He dwells in the area of the LexOs ...

•Kaban, his bodyguards Basmach and Gus, his 4 followers and his 2-3 snipers have different health values than PMCs and Scavs.

•Instead of the typical 4 single slot pockets, he has 3x (2x3 slot) and 2x (1x3 slot) pockets, bringing their total space to 24 slots.

•Kaban needs to be killed once for the quest The Huntsman Path - Big Game

Kaban and his followers defend LexOs with an extensive array of snipers, emplaced weapons, and patrolling the area within LexOs.

The snipers will patrol the rooftops of the LexOs dealership and LexOs mechanic area, moving between the two using an inaccessible gangway. If a sniper engages a PMC, the other snipers may quickly come to reinforce the sniper and pin down the player(s).

The guards within LexOs will patrol the compound between the dealership and mechanic area. At each entrance, there is an AGS-30 in the watchtowers and an NSV watching the dangerous chokepoints and entrances of the compound. These emplacements will often be manned, and a Guard will always man the NSV closest to where PMCs are assaulting from. Dismounted guards will take up positions to watch the entrance or will push PMCs at the entrances.

Kaban himself will stay within the dealership or mechanics building, often accompanied by Gus or Basmach, or both. If directly engaged by players, he will employ accurate, rapid bursts with his primary weapon and may reposition within his building, upstairs, or into the compound.

Kaban has 2-3 snipers on the roof of the LexOs area and 6 guards within the compound.

The snipers have a variety of marksmen rifles and medium armor. As most of them do not wear helmets, they can be easily dispatched with a headshot, especially because they tend to silhouette against the sky.

The guards have a variety of rifles, shotguns, as well as backup submachine guns and pistols. They often have medium-grade armor vests and helmets, though they may be equipped with faceshields that can pose a danger to PMCs hoping to get a quick headshot in.

Basmach and Gus have a variety of rifles and backup submachinegun guns and pistols. They never wear body armor, but may spawn with a helmet and faceshield to provide high levels of protection against headshots.

It is recommended to approach from the North and the area around Chek 15. The AGS-30 on this side has a blindspot that prevents it from turning towards Chek 15, whereas the Southern AGS-30 has long sightlines and can easily spot approaching players.

Care should be taken to avoid the grass and curb leading up to the entrance, as proximity-armed claymores will detonate without warning.

Grenades can be used to displace guards on the internal NSVs, who can be killed as they attempt to re-mount the NSV. Alternatively, flashbangs may be used to blind guards in the middle of the compound, allowing for an easy kill. All the guards should be whittled away before attempting to challenge Kaban himself.

At any time when fighting Kaban, players should be wary of a push from either Gus or Basmach, who will frequently detach from Kaban to push the players' last known positions. Because Gus or Basmach often sprint towards players, it may be easy to kill them while they are vulnerable. However, Gus and Basmach will stop sprinting upon seeing players and fire while walking. When guarding Kaban, they may either remain by his side, or begin pushing players away from Kaban's position.

Kaban will often sit and suppress players who attempt to peak him. Kaban may reposition himself while suppressing players, but does not often push players while firing. Grenades can be used to displace him, but he will quickly sprint away and begin firing on the move. It is best to bait Kaban's attention from one angle, then simultaneously engage him from another.

If Kaban is using his PKP, players may wait out his machinegun bursts, then begin pushing him during his long, and loud, reload process.

Some weapon variants have been ommitted due to heavy similarities.

Gus appears to be able to use the mounted weaponry, which will make him a serious threat to any level of armor. Note that the primary weapons and helmets can have numerous mod variations and those shown below are examples. Some weapon variants have been ommitted due to heavy similarities. Gus may spawn with secondary SMGs.
