Kurt Ferdinand Friedrich Hermann von Schleicher (7. aprill 1882 Brandenburg an der Havel – 30. juuni 1934 Neubabelsberg (tänapäeval Potsdam)) oli Saksamaa kindral ja Weimari vabariigi aegne viimane Saksamaa riigikantsler 3. detsembrist 1932 kuni 28. jaanuarini 1933 ja Preisimaa riigikomissar.

4 de may. de 2024 · Kurt Ferdinand Friedrich Hermann von Schleicher ( pronounced [ ˈkʊʁt fɔn ˈʃlaɪçɐ] ⓘ ; 7 April 1882 – 30 June 1934) [1] was a German general and the penultimate chancellor of Germany during the Weimar Republic. A rival for power with Adolf Hitler, Schleicher was murdered by Hitler's SS during the Night of the Long Knives in 1934.
Kurt von Schleicher will play an important role in Germany’s new content, and while other parties and entire coalitions may have paths themselves, he has his own path all by himself. It’s a testament both to his importance and just how much of an interesting figure he was, both in our timeline and in Kaiserreich.
Schleicher wurde 1919 ins Reichswehrministerium versetzt und wurde dort zu einem engen Mitarbeiter Hans von Seeckts. Durch die Umbildung seiner Wehrmachtsabteilung in ein Ministeramt stieg Schleicher in den Rang eines beamten Staatssekretärs auf. 1932 nutzte er seine Kontakte in das Reichspräsidentenpalais, um erst Papen und anschließend sich selbst zum Reichskanzler ernennen zu lassen.
Schleicher was born into an aristocratic family in Brandenburg in 1882. His father Hermann von Schleicher was a Prussian officer. Like his father, he started his military career in the Prussian army. Following his mentor Wilhelm Groener, he was appointed to the Kriegsamt (German War Office). In 1917, he was sent to the Galician Front.
