As an ELS student, you'll improve your English proficiency by completing courses focused on reading and writing skills and listening and speaking skills. These courses are student-centred with a focus on real-world communication. When possible, we offer 3-credit electives that focus on pronunciation and on grammar.
Commencing September 2021 KPU has adopted the Computer-based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics (CASPer) online situational judgement test. The test will be used in addition to GPA from the Healthcare Foundations certificate as part of the application process (declaration process) for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN) programs.
