Charlotte Lee, Countess of Lichfield (5 September 1664 – 17 February 1718), formerly Lady Charlotte Fitzroy, was the illegitimate daughter of King Charles II of England by one of his best known mistresses, Barbara Villiers, 1st Duchess of Cleveland.
23 de mar. de 2024 · Lady Barbara FitzRoy gave birth to Sir Charles Hamilton KB. Following his father's marriage to his second wife, Charles was banished to France. There, he married Antoinette Courtney, the daughter of Charles Courtney of Archambaud, and was given the title of Count of Arran.
9 de abr. de 2024 · Charles Fitzroy, 1st duke of Southampton (baptized June 18, 1662—died September 9, 1730) was the natural son of Charles II by Barbara Villiers, countess of Castlemaine. When his mother became duchess of Cleveland and countess of Southampton in 1670, he was allowed to assume the name of Fitzroy and the courtesy title of earl of Southampton.
