Henry FitzJames, 1st Duke of Albemarle was born illegitimately on 6 August 1673 He was the son of James II Stuart King of Great Britain and Arabella Churchill. He passed away in 1702. [1] He fought in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690. He gained the rank of Colonel in 1690 in the service of the a Regiment of Infantry. In 1695 he was attainted.
