    Chuggaaconroy sexual harassment allegations

On January 16th, 2024, Emily posted a vague statement about an unnamed content creator being a sexual harasser, writing, "Scrolling through Reddit and seeing dozens of comments calling the popular youtuber who sexually harassed you for several months last year a wholesome bean with only green flags 🙃." Later that day, Emily posted, "Fuck it. Just to get it off my chest: last year Chuggaaconroy kept trying to get me to initiate erotic foot fetish roleplay with him while he also had a girlfriend. This included sending shoes to my house under the guise of a gift only to constantly ask for feet pics afterwards." Emily posted screenshots of the purported interactions between herself and Emile over the course of the day. The first DM is from June 11th, 2023, and shows Emile asking Emily to wear a pair of shoes he sent her. The next messages are from September. In one sent on September 16th, 2023, he asks if she wants to "pick up where [they] left off" the previous night, then sends her numerous messages, which she ignores, between then and November 2023. Emily frames this as him trying to lead her to do "fetish shit," writing, "Eventually I started ignoring him because I wasn’t sure how to navigate around him clearly trying to rope me into fetish shit and in return his messages to me got more frequent and aggressive". The next DM is taken from a September 9th, 2023, exchange in which Emile asks her to describe what she would do if he took her shoes from her at a convention. The next DM, from September 13th, shows Emile explaining that he's interested in shoes and likes talking about them with people, saying his girlfriend is okay with it because it "isn't sexual with my friends." In the next DM, he roleplays a scenario in which he trips her and takes off her shoes. Finally, she shares a series of screenshotted DMs from June 2023. The first screenshot shows a post she made in which a pair of sneakers is seen in the background. On June 4th, 2023, Emile messaged her about the photo, "Nice sneakers!" then asked for her PO box so he could send her sneakers, presumably the ones he was talking about in their June 11th exchange in which he asked if he could see them on her. Emily also posted a series of videos sharing further DMs. In the posts, she writes, "Convos would often derail suddenly. One moment we’d just be talking about Nintendo games, and then it would shift immediately to feet talk. He was very persistent in commenting on how big my feet are. I try to respond with blunt jokes to make the vibes less creepy out of nerves." She also shared a video and wrote, "And for those asking how I know it was his actual discord and not an impersonator I was talking to, beyond the fact that I ran it by mutuals of ours to make sure it was valid, here’s our first connection over Twitter leading up to things going to discord". A few days later, after seeing "some confusion about the timeline of events", Emily posted more screenshots of her DMs with Emile in chronological order. Emily said that she didn’t know he was into shoes like that when she accepted and got the gift nor had no reason to suspect it, and that she got suspicious when he asked for pictures but gave the benefit of the doubt. Emily responded to Emile's apology tweets by alleging there were other girls involved and alleged that this was "a pattern of behaviour spanning almost a decade", saying: Emily responded by saying that that she's not sure if she fully accepts his apology, suggesting his actions seem to be a pattern and claiming other women have come forward to her, but that she "wishes him the best" in his efforts to grow from the mistake. She concluded her response by alleging that they didn't settle it privately. Emily said the following in her response:

    Quinton Reviews

In July of 2023, Quinton Reviews uploaded a video to his secondary channel titled "Responding to everything". In the video, Quinton addressed the recently semi-viral accusations levied at him by a former editor who claimed he'd overworked and failed to pay her properly, alongside further allegations of maltreatment. In the video, he revealed proof showing that this editor had actually come onto him romantically multiple times, refusing to take no for an answer and becoming vindictive and vengeful as he tried to enforce boundaries, revealing himself to be a victim of years-long sexual harassment and internet stalking. He also showed proof countering her specific claims about payment and poor treatment, and multiple other editors came forward in the comments of the video to vouch for him. Shortly after this video went up, however, Dan Olson tweeted derisively in response, re-enforcing the already-dispelled accusation that Quinton had tried to get out of paying his editors properly. At about the same time, both Sarah Z and Lady Emily made vague posts on social media (The former on Tumblr, the latter on Twitter) which due to the timing--especially in conjunction with Dan Olson's direct response and Sarah Z's established prior dislike of Quinton--were speculated to be in response to Quinton opening up about his experiences. Lady Emily specifically wrote that, This tweet, alongside the posts from Dan Olson and Sarah Z, sparked a great deal of controversy, with many interpreting Emily's words as trying to foster doubt about Quinton's character and undermine him at a point where he was actively suffering abuse and harassment. Much of the criticism also centered around feelings that her words were, at best, naïve, and that they could also be read as justifications for bullying by implying that social ostracization should be viewed with an assumption of guilt and wrongdoing on the part of the person being ostracized. Concerns over bullying were only enhanced when people noted a dig at Quinton in "The Return of Channel Awesome's Demo Reel", wherein she takes a moment to say, as the shot zooms in closer and closer on a visual of Garfield merchandise: Quinton Reviews is well-known for having deliberately in-depth videos going over the minutia of the topics he's covering (With his videos often reaching several hours in length), and his extreme fondness for Garfield has been the focus of several videos, as well as a passive presence throughout his channel, as his large collection of Garfield merchandise is highly visible in the background of his set. Given the lack of other creators who she could be feasibly referencing, this was interpreted by some as a direct instance of subtle bullying from Lady Emily, resulting in further scrutiny of her tweet and its implications. In the aftermath of the backlash, Lady Emily claimed that her statement was actually in reference to Jonah Hill, and expressed frustration that people read into her vague tweet to such an extent, saying that she did not initially speak up to dissuade people from thinking it was about Quinton because she had muted the tweet after posting it and didn't want her words hyper-analyzed further.

    •She is autistic.

•Her first video The Failure of Channel Awesome's Demo Reel was an instant success, quickly earning her thousands of subscribers.

•Although she still likes the video, Emily isn't happy with the introductory section of her first video. This section features an analysis of Neon Genesis Evangelion in which she describes it as a deconstruction of the mecha genre that turns typical mecha tropes on their head and calls into question the genre. She later became more knowledgeable on other mecha anime and no longer agrees with this analysis, as many mecha anime are much deeper than she realized and that Neon Genesis Evangelion was less of a deconstruction than it seemed. She wishes she could rewrite this section of the video.

•Emily's work with Sarah Z helped kickstart her own channel's popularity.

•Emily has stated that the video she is most proud of is "The Many Adaptations of Berserk".
