    Laura Kuenssberg was born as Laura Juliet Kuenssberg in Italy in 1976. She is the daughter of Nick Kuenssberg (father) and Sally Kuenssberg (mother). She grew up in Glasgow and has two siblings; Joanna and David Kuenssberg. Laura holds British nationality but her ethnicity is unknown.

    Her father is a businessman and she belongs to a wealthy family. Her grandparents were the founder of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
