Here are some of my other thoughts: I really like the original English version (It is probably tied for my favourite). This is a very common opinion, but I found the singing to be poor in the 2012 film version, especially after comparing to the stage versions. Sadly, the film was my introduction to this musical. The 1991 French version is stupid.
