29 de abr. de 2024 · Byrhtferth of Ramsey (born c. 970—died c. 1020) was an English monk, among the most learned and well-read scholars of the 10th and 11th centuries, who is best known for his Enchiridion, a scientific textbook. Byrhtferth was a monk at Ramsey Abbey in England and was a student of the scholar Abbo of Fleury. Little else is known of Byrhtferth’s life.
