Great Hall or Parliament House. The ruins of Linlithgow Palace are located in the town of Linlithgow, West Lothian, Scotland, 15 miles (24 km) west of Edinburgh. The palace was one of the principal residences of the monarchs of Scotland in the 15th and 16th centuries.

The site was first occupied as far back as Roman times 2,000 years ago. There has been a royal residence here since at least the reign of David I (1124–53).

Linlithgow es un pueblo de unos 20.000 habitantes que se halla al oeste de Edimburgo y su acceso desde esta ciudad escocesa es sencillísimo. La mejor forma de llegar es en tren desde Waverly Station en un trayecto de apenas veinte minutos. También puedes llegar en coche en un trayecto de una media hora dependiendo del tráfico.
