Lieutenant-Colonel Lord Charles FitzRoy (28 February 1791 – 17 June 1865), was a British soldier and Whig politician. He fought at the Battle of Waterloo at an early age and later held political office as Vice-Chamberlain of the Household between 1835 and 1838.
General Lord Charles FitzRoy (17 July 1764 – 20 December 1829) was a British Army officer and politician . Early life. FitzRoy was born on 17 July 1764. He was the third, but second surviving, son of Augustus FitzRoy, 3rd Duke of Grafton and, his first wife, Anne Liddell, a daughter of Henry Liddell, 1st Baron Ravensworth. [1]

25 de jul. de 2023 · Sir Charles Augustus FitzRoy was born in 1796. In addition to being the only son of Lord Charles FitzRoy, he was grandson of Augustus Henry FitzRoy – the 3rd Duke of Grafton and, for a short time, the Prime Minister of Great Britain (1768 to 1770). FitzRoy was educated at Harrow and joined the Royal Horse Guards at the age of 16.
