Rt. Hon. Lord Claud John Hamilton PC (20 February 1843 – 26 January 1925) was a British Member of Parliament (MP) during the Victorian era, and a noted railway director. Family and education.
Lady Elizabeth Emma Proby was born in 1821. 2 She was the daughter of Admiral Granville Leveson Proby, 3rd Earl of Carysfort and Isabella Howard. 1, 3 She married Lord Claud Hamilton, son of James Hamilton, Viscount Hamilton and Harriet Douglas, on 7 August 1844. 1 She died on 24 June 1900. 1. From 7 August 1844, her married name became Hamilton.
