Lord George Murray (4 October 1694 – 11 October 1760), sixth son of John Murray, 1st Duke of Atholl, was a Scottish nobleman and soldier who took part in the Jacobite rebellions of 1715 and 1719 and played a senior role in that of 1745.

28 de mar. de 2024 · Lord George Murray was a Scottish Jacobite, one of the ablest of the generals who fought for Charles Edward, the Young Pretender, the Stuart claimant to the English throne, in the Jacobite rebellion of 1745–46. Murray joined the English army in 1711 but aided the Jacobites in their unsuccessful.

El Reverendo Lord George Murray nació en Dunkeld (Escocia) el 30 de enero de 1761. Era hijo de John Murray, tercer duque de Atholl.
