Lord James Beauclerk (c. 1709 – 20 October 1787) was an Anglican clergyman who served as the Bishop of Hereford from 1746 to 1787.

He was born on 6th April 1696 and succeeded his father Charles as Duke. He was governor of Windsor Castle, Lord Warden of the Forests, and Master Falconer of England among other offices.

The Duke of St Albans was himself the eldest of two illegitimate sons born to King Charles II and Eleanor (or Nell, as she is better known) Gwyn.
