Louis Mountbatten. Admiral of the Fleet Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas George Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, KG, GCB, OM, GCSI, GCIE, GCVO, DSO, PC (June 25, 1900 – August 27, 1979), was a British admiral and statesman, a great grandson of Queen Victoria and an uncle of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
