Anne Boleyn wasn’t in love with Henry VIII (well certainly not at the beginning). When Henry VIII started to pursue her, she was actually betrothed to Henry Percy, Earl of Northumberland. They were due to get married and there seems to have been a genuine affection there but sadly she fell prey to Henry VIII’s wandering eye…. and she made him wait SEVEN years before she married him.
