Esta teoría psicoeconómica considera que la creatividad es una decisión y explora qué papel juega la asunción de riesgo para la producción creativa.
Sternberg y Lubart proponen una teoría de la creatividad que parte del principio de que las personas creativas en el mundo de la ideas son capaces de comprar bajo y vender alto. La creatividad requiere la confluencia de seis componentes interrelacionados: habilidades intelectuales, conocimiento, estilo de pensamiento, personalidad, motivación ...

These are: Creators, Creating, Collaborations, Contexts, Creations, Consumption, and Curricula. The content of these thema are described and situated with respect to previous proposals.

Dr. Todd Lubart is Professor of Psychology at the Université Paris Descartes, and former Member of the Institut Universitaire de France. His research focuses on creativity, its identification and development within the multivariate approach of the creative process, creative potential and giftedness.
