Ludwell Lee (October 13, 1760 – March 23, 1836) was a prominent American lawyer and planter who served in both houses of the Virginia General Assembly representing Prince William and Fairfax Counties and rose to become the Speaker of the Virginia Senate.

Ludwell Lee was born at "Chantilly" on October 13, 1760, the second son of Richard Henry Lee and Anne Aylett. Richard Henry Lee directed his sons' education away from careers as merchants, deciding that his eldest son, Thomas (b. 1758), would be a minister and that Ludwell would be a lawyer.
